About this cause

After completing the Rotary Nature Play Park and planting 100 trees along the North Street pathway (the Centenary of Trees - to celebrate 100 years of Rotary service in Australia) the Rotary Club of Berry’s next local community project is the Rotary Dog Park - Off-Leash Area.

The Rotary Club is leading this community-funded project (with Council approval), but we need community sponsorship and donations to help fund it.

The Rotary Dog Park - Off-Leash Area will occupy a large, grassed area adjacent to the Centenary of Trees pathway in North St Berry.

The Project and Fundraising

Construction will commence as soon as possible and take place in Stages. Stage 1 includes fencing around the Dog Park, dividing into large dog and small dog zones; entry gates and signage; water supply; and some seating. The estimated cost for Stage 1 is $70,000 and will enable the Park to be opened for use.

Further developments (as funds permit) will include dog agility and quiet dog zones, more trees and landscaping, internal pathways, plus shade shelters and additional seating.
